With it, I successfully convert my JVC Camcorder files to my laptop for playback. After reading the answers above, I wanna put forward my own opinions.

I've managed to get .mod files to play on windows media player now using renaming and downloading codec for audio, but am still having problems with editing. I am using power producer which came with the jvc unit, and have also downloaded the latest version as a trial, but can still get no audio in power producer or on burnt discs. Any solution?
