		<description>I&#039;ve just become aware of this company today. Today was my first day back from christmas vacation and I was asked to look into a charge for DSL on our At&amp;t bill that we never ordered. 

After looking over the bill I also noticed a charge from ILD Teleservice. I called them up and they tried to tell me that they are just a billing company and that it&#039;s not their fault. No matter what I said they just kept saying that I needed to talk to the company they were billing me for (Ebizz.net).

I called up Ebizz.net and after some discussion they decided to offer me $200 of the $719.25 they&#039;ve billed my company so far. I through out the words &quot;civil lawsuit&quot; and &quot;small claims court&quot; and that $200 offer turned into a $600 offer.

Now to me it seems strange that this company would want to offer me one penny if they honestly thought the chargers were legit. The very fact that ILD Teleservice deals with a slime ball company that would pull this crap makes me want to do everything in my power to make life tough for these people.

I&#039;m calling my Aterny General and BBB to see what I can do to prevent this in the future. 

A good idea for those with a little pocket money to blow is to file a civil suit against them in small claims court. If they don&#039;t show, which they will not, you get a defaulted judgement and then can go after their money.</description>

		<description>I recently found a $12.95 charge on my Verizon phone bill.  I contacted ILD - complaint form on thier web page and asked them to cancel whatever account they had for me.  I received an e-mail saying they had.  They canceled an account I never authorized!!

OK, so then I contacted NATIONSVPLUS VMAIL, and asked them to supply a copy of a contract with my name and signature from when I created an account with them.  Here is the response:

Dear XXXXX:

Please be advised that our accounts are tracked by the telephone number receiving the charges. If you would provide that information I will be happy to address any issues or concerns you may have regarding the account.

How is that possible for a legit company to not have your name on file if you have an account with them? 

Verizon said it will credit my account for over $70.00 since they can trace the last six months, but one again on the bill for December I see the $12.95 has been added, so someone better get on the ball.

		<description>Well i seem to have found a post worth reading to me about this company today since just a couple hours ago i found out my father in law who me and my wife have been living in his house for years under rent while he owns another place. But he has left the phone in his name and the internet in his name as well.. Today i found out he is mad at me for some online voice mail thing that i have no freaking clue about it, on his bill it says he has been charged all the way back since Dec of 2006....... WOW is all i can say Atat says do you no a so and so he says yes (me) im like whats this 467 dollar charge for he says for some voice mail thing im like say what ?? I dont even have a dam cell phone or voice mail on the home phone......And why 3 years before it shows up ?????? Yea talk about a scam.. To make matters worse me and the wife are not going well and her dad comes up with this out of no where and im sitting here going there isnt no freaking way, and guess what there saying i authorized the payments for my father in law , HOW IN GODS NAME DO I DO THAT ?? and since i no i didnt bill nothing to his charges how did they get my name at AT&amp;T and not no what the Heck its for ???

Several months I had a 3rd party( ESBI/Conference CallSvc)  billing of $14.95 on my Verizon bill. I called Verizon and told them I did not contract with Verizon to charge me for 3rd party services especially those that i never authorized. Verizon said that I could request them to put a block for all 3rd part charges which I did. Also I had I had to call ESBI &amp; Conference CallSvc to refund me, which they did.

All was fine until my contract with Verizon was renewed and apparently they removed the block. 

And so, my current Verizon bill has a 3rd part charge of $15.95 plus tax by ILD Teleservices/Family 911 LLC. I called Verizon and told them I did not contract with Verizon to charge me for 3rd party services especially those that i never authorized and I strongly requested them to put a block for all 3rd part charges, which they did.

Also, I called ILD Teleservices( 1-800-433-4518 ); they said they would also put a block on my phone # and gave me the # 1-877-269-8725 to call Family 911 LLC to ask for a refund. I called Family 911 LLC and they first gave me a sales pitch. I told them that this is a scam and I never authorized it. They said they emailed me giving me five days to cancel my order( scammed ). I simply repeated strongly that I never placed an order in the first place and that this is a scam. Finally they said they would give me a refund.

Apparently, these scams work because so many people do not check their phone bills every month because they have automatic payments.
I removed my automatic pay and check my bill monthly when I pay online.  In addition you may want to request a paper bill sent to your home if that will help you to check it.

Good luck and hopefully if enough people get wise to these scams and write their representatives, regulations will change to put a stop to this unethical behavior.

Yes, this is a total scam, but, because of the Telecommunications Act of 1996, we and other providers are powerless to stop it unless you call or write (e-mail) requesting a block of 3rd party billing (because of this law, when I pull up you bill, I cannot even see the name of the company, much less what they claim they’re billing you for). OAN, ILD Teleservices, PYM billing are, in my opinion, all the same people. It’s a company based in Antigua (RED FLAG!!!) that has found either your e-mail address or phone number through some type of illicit means. Here’s what you do: First, please call 1-800.ATT.(288).2020,(or your current provider) and place a block on 3rd party billing (we can’t do it unless you ask, as per Telecommunications Act of 1996). If you have been scammed, call us or whoever is providing you phone service, dispute the charges for 90 days (these bastards have, by law, 65 days from the time of your dispute, to credit you!), and ask for a dispute and “do not treat” request for the 90 days (treatment is late charges, disconnect, collections, etc.). Also, file complaints with your state commerce commisssion (utility regulatory commission, etc.)as well as the FCC Consumer Complaint Divison (888.225.5322). That way, you have bullets for you gun when they tell you “you ordered this on the internet, through a telphone solicitation, etc.) Finally, when you call them, RAISE HELL! The last thing they want is another complain which will eventually shut them down!</description>

Yes, this is a total scam, but, because of the Telecommunications Act of 1996, we and other providers are powerless to stop it unless you call or write (e-mail) requesting a block of 3rd party billing (because of this law, when I pull up you bill, I cannot even see the name of the company, much less what they claim they’re billing you for). OAN, ILD Teleservices, PYM billing are, in my opinion, all the same people. It’s a company based in Antigua (RED FLAG!!!) that has found either your e-mail address or phone number through some type of illicit means. Here’s what you do: First, please call 1-800.ATT.(288).2020,(or your current provider) and place a block on 3rd party billing (we can’t do it unless you ask, as per Telecommunications Act of 1996).
