Continued from page 2 (If you haven’t read my first article, check out Google Sitemaps – Get Crawled, Indexed and Searched)
The Links Tab has 2 options – Internal Links and External Links. The External Links option provides a list of pages on your site that have links pointing to them from other sites. By clicking the number in the External links column, you are able to see a sample list of links to the specified page.
The Internal Links option is just as it suggests; it provides a list of pages on your site that have links pointing to them from other internal pages.
The final tab, the Sitemaps Tab, just gives you a listing of all the sitemaps that have been uploaded for your site. You can upload multiple sitemaps if you happen to have subdomains, or you can upload a sitemap for each category of your site. The sitemap page when the sitemap was originally submitted, when it was last downloaded, the sitemap status, and the total number of URLs submitted in the sitemap.
