Recently, I began having some problems with my Xbox 360 connecting to my Microsoft Windows Vista Media Center PC. I’d repeatedly get the following error:

Connection Failed.

The Xbox 360 was unable to prepare a connection to the Windows Vista Media Center-based PC. Restart your Xbox 360 and try again.

Guess what… restarting the Xbox 360 didn’t work. For some reason, the credential that got setup on the Windows Vista Media Center PC went bad and the PC just stopped recognizing the Xbox 360 as a Media Center Extender (MCE). Thankfully, after some searching, I found the solution here:

    i have a rooter so i can use my computer at the same time but im not to sure if i take the rooter away will it make the console work better and quicker? thanks darryl pettengell

    over and over still does not work Microsoft windows media specialist couldent help and neither could you. fuck this bullshit im getting a ps3
