Oh, yeah, that’s true that hybrid mode works well for the iPhone. And I prefer it for the iPod as well. I’ve been using it on Hybrid ever since May 10th-ish. Thanks.

Sucks to hear it doesn’t work for the iPhone 3G, though. I’m sticking with my original iPhone anyway.

I have the PA11-HON2y and the iPhone 3g doesn’t charge. I can change tracks from the steering wheel and still use my XM radio though.

Really? I ended hooking mine up in “Hybrid” mode (I think that’s what it was called) and I can control my iPhone via the stereo controls, or directly on the iPhone screen. Now I’m just looking for a nice mount that I can put it on so that I can swivel the iPhone for Normal View and Cover Flow View.

Any suggestions on mounts?

I have a PA11 in my Civic and it works great for my iPod. On my iPhone, however, it can only play music, but you can’t change and browse the music directly from the iPhone, so you have to disconnect each time to change the song. That is, of course, unless you change it from the buttons on the car forward and back a track, or from playlist to playlist.
