Hello, i had the same problem with Mozilla Firefox 7, but i rezolve the problem. In had enter in the C:\Programs Files\Mozilla Firefox\ and i delete the folder pluggins and extensions, after that i uninstall mozilla firefox. Then i download Mozilla Firefox 6.0 and installed it. It works this way. Hope works on you!!!

Go to your profile/program folder and find nsSessionStore.js. Rename it. I had this issue for moinths but found a link to sugget to do it. It has gone now

Firefox 4 crashes even more frequently. It is really unbelievable. A few times a day, the silly screen and the apology.

Every time I use Firefox it constantly crashes; sometime every five to ten minutes. I used to like Firefox better than Internet Explorer, but I may be reconsidering going back to IE. The main reason why I still use Firefox is because with other Servers such IE, Chrome, and Opera the plug-ins are always crashing. But the plug-ins don’t crash on Firefox, go figure. I don’t understand why it keeps crashing. Is it my computer, ISP? I have no idea.

Just wondering if Mozilla may have different IT personnel.

Hi, ff is just the best for surfing, unfortunately it is not dependable as it crashes without reason. mozilla, help us fix this incompatibility problem. Mine crashed when not in use, i have uninstalled, re-installed yet it is not working. How do i get out of this problem. Am a novice please.

i got same problem with mozilla about mozilla crash reporter, i just download new version and instal my new version and then windows automatically will change old version with new version ,after i finished install i try to open my mozilla and my mozilla work normal again no crash reporter appear on my laptop screen, try this ,it’s work!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are there any add-on/application installed on the browser? If yes then they could be the reason why you are facing the problem. Sometimes the files of the add-on/application are corrupt. If such application/add-on is installed on the browser, it will corrupt the files of the browser. If such a situation occurs then the browser will not function properly. Open the browser in safe mode and then see if the browser is working properly. To open the browser in safe mode, type “firefox.exe/safemode” in the run tab. In safe mode all the applications and add-on are disabled. Hence if the browser works properly in safe mode, then find and remove the application/add-on which is creating problems.
Virus can also be the possibility behind such problem. Virus get downloaded on the computer while visiting certain website or while downloading some data on the computer. If a virus gets downloaded on the computer, it tries to get linked with the files of the application which are frequently used. Once this happens then the application will not work properly. Hence scan the system with an updated antivirus and check all the files which are infected. Repair or quarantine the files which are infected. If the number of files of the browser which are infected are more then you will have to reinstall the browser again.
