Like many of you, I’m hoping that the iPhone 2.2 firmware release will add copy & paste functionality, along with a couple other much needed functions… like the ability to record video! If you have any specific requests, make sure to add it to our iPhone functionality we’d all like to see page here.
Ever since updating my iPhone to firmware version 2.0, I’ve had nothing but problems. Slow keyboard, lagging contact menu, glitchy web browser, etc. But since installing the 2.1 iPhone firmware update, all of those problems have since been resolved.
Recently, when I’ve tried to send a text message to certain friends on the Verizon network from my iPhone on the AT&T network, I get the following response upon sending my message:
1 (121) 611-611
Error Invalid Number. Please re-send using a valid 10 digit mobile number or valid short code.
What does this error mean? Has anyone else had this problem? The only way that I’ve found to send text messages to the people who I get the Error Invalid Number (1121611611) response from is to actually email them. i.e. if the person I am trying to contact has a phone number (888) 555-1212, I just send an email to 8885551212@vtext.com and the text seems to go through fine.
To email any Verizon user, just send an email to [their phone #]@vtext.com
