- Video Recording Capability – upload to YouTube functionality would be nice with this
- Copy & Paste – is it really that difficult?
- Multi-Text Message – rather than leaving a group text message, can’t the multi-text be added to the conversation of each recipient? That’d make sense, wouldn’t it?
- Text Message Forwarding – no explanation needed.
This is just my short list – if I’m forgetting anything major, please let me know, or just add it in the comments.

1[...] Like many of you, I’m hoping that the iPhone 2.2 firmware release will add copy & paste functionality, along with a couple other much needed functions… like the ability to record video! If you have any specific requests, make sure to add it to our iPhone functionality we’d all like to see page here. [...]

2type horizontally in texts! like a sidekick? wouldn’t it be some much easier/faster to type with 2 thumbs. you can do it in safari! and im sure it wouldn’t be that hard to adapt that to texting.
can wait for copy and paste. also i should be able to send a link/picture i took through texts too. not everyone looks at there e-mail every five minutes.

10Great requests! What do you think it’ll take to get Apple to not only read this list, but to pay attention to it?
It always seems like they have an entirely different agenda when they release a new firmware.

11A lot of people canceling their iPhone service or a lot of phone calls. I have already called Apple 12 times and complained. Everyone should call
1800 myiphone
get an operator and then say you have a complaint to submit and rattle them all off!

15Ability to receive multimedia messages via SMS like my friends with much less superior mobile devices who try sending them to me and I have to explain why my amazing phone can’t see them. The current way it’s done its not a solution.

16some that maybe haven’t been said…
- IR for possible Universal Remote apps…I would love to control by TV, Cable & BluRay Player
- I could be alone on this one…but I need much more than nine pages of apps…there should be at least 15
- I hope one day they allow you to organize your apps via iTunes…dragging across 9 pages can be a pain in the ass…although ive adopted a new method of emptying my dock to move apps instead of dragging
anyone else having issues like these?

17It would nice to print from the iPhone and copy files to the phone just like a Jump drive.

18Aidan – IR would be great, but that is a hardware spec that is not built into the iPhone… is it? Do you really have that many apps on your phone? Let’s be honest… you only use about 5.
Danielle – Multimedia Messages (MMS) would be great!!! I hate having to go to viewmymessage.com – such a hassle.
Mike – I love how you call out Steve Jobs, like he is the single responsible party for creating, approving and developing all of these features. He simply showcases them all on a large stage and takes all the credit. Other than that, he doesn’t do shit.

20Yeah, MMS for sure. Total pain having to login to some site, with some UN and PW you need to write down because….THERE IS NO COPY AND PASTE. Also, an actual working Safari that doesn’t constantly crash would be nice. Come on with the Flash already.

21I agree with much of the above. Along the lines of iNewbie’s comment, I’d like to have “power profiles” that I could customize. One setting might be 3G on, wifi on, push on, another setting might be dimmed screen, Edge, wifi off, push off. Of course you can change each setting one by one but it’d be nice to do it with a few clicks.

28Call blocking… like being able to block certain #’s from ever calling?
Doesn’t pressing any button on the iPhone twice basically do the same thing? Pressing a button once silences the call, pressing it twice sends it to voicemail. Or do you just want to block the call altogether? Not even give them the chance to leave a VM. Ex-girlfriend problems, or what?

32GPS – Announcing Turn-By-Turn Navigation like TomTom or TeleNav
MMS – you install a camera and cant send the pictures to friends cellphones now that is just retarded!!!
Video Recorder!!! god even the cheapies have that
Tethering
heres an idea i thought about not only having flash in your safari, but the ability to print the web page over wifi
make the volume louder on speakerphone and handset when making a call !!!!! or when you have it on your hip or in your pocket make it louder so you can hear your ipod songs
google maps with street view like the G1
open source – doubt it will happen but i think it would be cool to have a section in the application downloads for users to create programs and upload them for other users to enjoy without having to jailbreak anything
cant think of anything else at the moment

• Aweek number on the calendar application icon, next to the time
• E-mail in landscape
• Ability to use iPhone as modem for PC
• Copy & Paste
• Treat some of Apple’s applications (ex. notes, Youtube, Stocks, iTune, Weather), just as other apps, that is, allow delete.

36I use this for corporate email and contacts. I am not able to search contacts by keywords. I am also not able to search email by keyword. This is a basic feature on my blackberry. Also phone numbers should highlight in email so I can touch them and dial, then add to contacts.

37I won’t mention stuff which is already mentioned on this page… Like copy/paste, etc. Some of the stuff that are not mentioned but important to me are….
Autofill forms in Safari
Link multiple files attachments in email
Send songs by email, Bluetooth
Support for other video formats like mpeg, wmv, avi
Flash support
Landscape email read and compose
Folders to organize all your apps… Like games, utility, finance, etc.
More than 9 pages of apps.
No lag in camera and keyboard.
Download queue in AppStore. Add to download basket… (multiple apps download at once) don’t have to launch appstore again and again one by one.
More ringtones… Ability to set any mp3 song as ringtone.
Autofocus lens in camera for sharper images.
Macro setting for really closeup shots.
Search contacts by nicknames also.
Video ringtones.
Screensavers when phone is idle.
5 item dock.
Search notes. Backup notes. Edit fonts, colors.
Worldmap in Clock to see different timezones.
Learn new words we often type.
Option to turn off accelerometer. Using in bed, it’s annoying when phone keeps on going from portrait to landscape.
Ability to see the comments on Youtube.
Save videos from Youtube (I miss the MXTube app)
Delete songs and videos without going to iTunes.
Customize Mail / SMS alert sounds.
Better battery life.
See actual battery level number… 60%, 40%, etc.
Video calling.
TV viewing app.
Remote control app to control any tv.
Ability to password protect your mail.
Ability to Hide files.
See list of all apps you have purchased from appstore.
Ability to email developer from the app page in appstore.
There’s more stuff I can think of, but no use as Apple doesnt listen to it’s loyal customers and doesn’t even give us basic things like copy/paste, SMS forwarding, mms, record video, etc.
