   type horizontally in texts! like a sidekick? wouldn’t it be some much easier/faster to type with 2 thumbs. you can do it in safari! and im sure it wouldn’t be that hard to adapt that to texting.

   can wait for copy and paste. also i should be able to send a link/picture i took through texts too. not everyone looks at there e-mail every five minutes.

   4 things that i really need:

   1. cut and paste
   2. Text msg forwarding/resending
   3. An option to turn off dictonary while texting or emailing because there are ppl like me who dont type the whole msg in english. i use word from my language as well and write them in a way in english such that when u read them they sound like words from my language..

   it’s a shame that my black jack does the same if not more than my iPhone they really need to start unlocking the potentional of this phone, and put basic cell phone stuff like mms, copy and paste, and costumization c’mon apple listen to the consumer!

   I would love to get MMS, text forwarding, Copy/Paste, Video and sound recording, Text Message custom alerts like ringtones, landscape texting and email, and TV on a phone that does everything. If verizon can have vcast then apple and at&t and have iCast! LOL

   These are all i want. Please add them asap or i am getting the LG dare even know i hate verizon, but they have MMS

   2) I’d like to be able to invite other to a meeting on a calendar entry
   3) I’d like to be able to forward an Outlook appointment
   4) I’d like to be able to CUT and PASTE

    Great requests! What do you think it’ll take to get Apple to not only read this list, but to pay attention to it?

    It always seems like they have an entirely different agenda when they release a new firmware.

    A lot of people canceling their iPhone service or a lot of phone calls. I have already called Apple 12 times and complained. Everyone should call

    get an operator and then say you have a complaint to submit and rattle them all off!

    I would like to see a profile button on the main screen to easily turn on/off blue tooth & WiFi when I’m in the car or in the office.

    Ability to receive multimedia messages via SMS like my friends with much less superior mobile devices who try sending them to me and I have to explain why my amazing phone can’t see them. The current way it’s done its not a solution.

    some that maybe haven’t been said…

    - IR for possible Universal Remote apps…I would love to control by TV, Cable & BluRay Player

    - I could be alone on this one…but I need much more than nine pages of apps…there should be at least 15

    - I hope one day they allow you to organize your apps via iTunes…dragging across 9 pages can be a pain in the ass…although ive adopted a new method of emptying my dock to move apps instead of dragging

    anyone else having issues like these?

    Aidan – IR would be great, but that is a hardware spec that is not built into the iPhone… is it? Do you really have that many apps on your phone? Let’s be honest… you only use about 5.

    Danielle – Multimedia Messages (MMS) would be great!!! I hate having to go to viewmymessage.com – such a hassle.

    Mike – I love how you call out Steve Jobs, like he is the single responsible party for creating, approving and developing all of these features. He simply showcases them all on a large stage and takes all the credit. Other than that, he doesn’t do shit.

    Yeah, MMS for sure. Total pain having to login to some site, with some UN and PW you need to write down because….THERE IS NO COPY AND PASTE. Also, an actual working Safari that doesn’t constantly crash would be nice. Come on with the Flash already.

    I agree with much of the above. Along the lines of iNewbie’s comment, I’d like to have “power profiles” that I could customize. One setting might be 3G on, wifi on, push on, another setting might be dimmed screen, Edge, wifi off, push off. Of course you can change each setting one by one but it’d be nice to do it with a few clicks.

    1. More Camera funtionality like zooming and theme modes lke sepia, back & white etc.
    2. Ability to have keyboard funtionality both vertically and /or horizontally.
    3. Copy, paste and better text editig capabilities.
    4. Voice activated dialing feature from within the phone (considering many countries are now banning use of cellphone in a car without a bluetooth headset.
    5. Video capturing and MMS support.

    Call blocking… like being able to block certain #’s from ever calling?

    Doesn’t pressing any button on the iPhone twice basically do the same thing? Pressing a button once silences the call, pressing it twice sends it to voicemail. Or do you just want to block the call altogether? Not even give them the chance to leave a VM. Ex-girlfriend problems, or what?

    Picture Mail Please!!!!!!!! Hat having to wait to get home to see my picture mail. Iphone doesnt even let you log on to view my messages. Has to be from computer.

    open source – doubt it will happen but i think it would be cool to have a section in the application downloads for users to create programs and upload them for other users to enjoy without having to jailbreak anything

    I use this for corporate email and contacts. I am not able to search contacts by keywords. I am also not able to search email by keyword. This is a basic feature on my blackberry. Also phone numbers should highlight in email so I can touch them and dial, then add to contacts.

    More than 9 pages of apps.
    No lag in camera and keyboard.
    Download queue in AppStore. Add to download basket… (multiple apps download at once) don’t have to launch appstore again and again one by one.
    More ringtones… Ability to set any mp3 song as ringtone.
    Autofocus lens in camera for sharper images.
    Macro setting for really closeup shots.
    Search contacts by nicknames also.
    Video ringtones.
    Screensavers when phone is idle.
    5 item dock.
    Search notes. Backup notes. Edit fonts, colors.
