Zenni Optical – Great Frames for Your Glasses
November 18th, 2008 | Posted by in Random Stuff
Let me just start out by saying that I do not wear glasses, but I am absolutely intrigued by people who do. Not because I want to wear glasses, or because I feel sorry for them, but I think that you can tell a lot from a person by the glasses that they wear. If you wear glasses and you’re looking to put out a good vibe, check out the frame selection at Zenni Optical. Not only do they have a great selection of frames, but they have Holiday frames that will bring holiday cheer to wherever you go.
If I had to wear glasses, I’d definitely go with this set of Holiday frames for a few reasons:
- Green looks good on me.
- This frame style screams sophistication.
- Green looks really god on me!
If you’re in the market for a new pair of glasses or frames for your glasses, make sure you check out the great selection at Zenni Optical. Pick up some of these holiday frames, or get them as a gift for one of your outgoing loved ones.

Whether it be Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Years, there is definitely a set of glasses frames that will fit the occasion at Zenni Optical.

I ordered a pair from them on 0ct 15th 2008 for my elderly father. As of today I have not received them.
I was informed on the 27th of October that my order was shipped from China via email. On November 7th, I was told about a customs hold was delaying my order. I received an email response stating my order was stalled in customs and should be released within a week to ten days. The email also stated the following:
“…All of our shipments are made 1st class, USPS. When the mailing label is created with the US Postal Service software, a tracking number is generated, and automatically emailed to you at the address you entered on the order form….” I never received a tracking number. A week later, I called Zenni Optical. After great amount of wait time, I was told by a rep the order has been released and I should expect delivery in 3 to 5 days. After a week of no merchandise, I called again only to get a recorded message on stating that there are no reps available and to leave a voice message. This was impossible because the voice mail box was full. After sending numerous of emails, I did receive this response “…There are lots of orders been delayed due to the custom hold, and after the release we are now working extra hours to expedite the delivery. And please be assured that you can receive your order around Thanks Giving Days…” Thanksgiving day has come and gone and still no glasses. Because I have never received a tracking number, I tend to believe my order has not even been sent. As of today, I have no glasses! I had an invoice of $100.00. The lack of communication and the non delivery of goods have left a queasy feeling in my gut. Rip Off? I don’t know, but if it sounds like a duck…. I am beginning to regret not going to a brick and mortar store. I may have paid more but at least I can talk to the people face to face.
We ordered glasses Jan. 3, 2009. They are not delivered yet. Each week another excuse. Each week a promise we will see them by the end of the week or we will see a tracking number by the next day. None of these has yet to happen. Don’t risk your money! They don’t deliver, just promise. The 800 number is so jammed that you have to try many times just to get in the hold que which takes 16 to 25 minutes to get through to get another excuse.
