Hi Julie -

I'm glad to hear that someone is on the same page as me, however, I just read somewhere that Nike+ hasn't been supported on previous versions of the iPhone because the iPhone has not ever had the capability to run applications in the backround. i.e. when you receive a phone call, it would interrupt your workout, thus requiring you to have to start it over. With the new iPhone 3G S, Nike+ will be able to continue running in the backround allowing your workout to continue even if you receive a call and pick it up.

I'd still like to see Nike+ ported to the iPhone 3G and the original iPhone. I wouldn't have a problem switching my phone to Airplane Mode prior to starting a run, I think that'd solve the problem, but I guess Apple doesn't want to support it.

Until they do, or until I buy a new iPhone 3G S, I guess I'll just keep using my iPod Nano.

I am waiting for someone smarter than me to find a cheat and make thier own. The required shoe with the place to insert the pod has already been broken. I have read that it is just blue tooth. Someone break this. Everyone wants it and if apple doesn't want to give it to us lets take it.
