This was the ticket! Thank you! I had two Windows Server Enterprise 2008 machines with the same error 80070490. Tried every gimick to fix them. Manually installing this security update fixed the error. Thank you again!

Dude – I owe you a beer. There are HORROR stories “out there” dealing with this problem …but your simple little solution worked just fine (mine was even the same KB number patch). THANKS!
